The Artwork & Design Process
How do I submit my artwork?
When you submit your quote or order online, you can upload your artwork during this process. If your artwork is too large for the upload, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please reference your quote or order number.
What is a visual proof?
The visual or digital proof is a mockup of your logo/text on your chosen promotional product. This is provided to you so you can have a visual of your artwork layout, spelling, size, imprint color. Our art department will always provide you the best recommend layout of your artwork.
What is a spot color or full color print?
Spot color printing is when each individual color of your artwork is printed in its own ink.
Full color printing is a digital method where all of your ink colors within your artwork are printed at the same time.
How long is my artwork kept on file?
We keep your artwork for a minimum of 5 years.
How do the imprint area and print size differ?
The imprint area is the determined area by the manufacturer and is not adjustable. We will size your logo according to the imprint area. The actual print size is the amount of space your artwork will take within the determined imprint area. This is the actual size of your logo once printed. Once this area is finalized, no changes can be made.
What artwork files are acceptable?
Your artwork must be provided in high-resolution vector format files: .ai, .eps, or .pdf. Please make sure your artwork is converted into outlines.
What is a Pre-Production Sample?
Pre-Production samples differ from Visual Proofs. A pre-production sample is a live produced sample of your chosen item with your custom artwork printed. To request a pre-production sample, we must receive a written request. These samples are $150.00 and include the service charge, cost of the item and setup charges. Shipping is additional. Pre-Production samples are non-refundable. You will still receive a visual proof before production of the sample.
Can I increase the size of the imprint area?
The imprint area on each product differs. Our manufacturers have set the imprint area and size. The imprint area cannot be increased.
What is a PMS Color?
The Pantone Matching System assigns numerical codes to colors. If you want your logo printed in a specific color, we require the PMS code. PMS Matching is the process of using the PMS code of your choice. PMS matching is not always available for each product. In this case, we will get as close to your PMS code. PMS matching incurs a fee of $20.00 per color.
